hey, i heard a story from a polish artdirector from my old company. he told me a story of a polish princess, which was kill herself, because of a unwanted marriage, marry with german prince that i remember(because her father force to marry wiht german prince-because they need money and power). she was loved too much by people. after her death polish people made a "kurgan" [link] for her, with their own will, that he told me. do you know this story? i checked internet but i couldnt find any info.

Hey^^ That's true - there is such a legend and i know it well,its one of the most popular legends in Poland and the story takes place in my city;)

Actually its not a kurgan, because there is no burial chamber inside - its just a memorial.
Hehe right now the legend seems controversial because its about never-ending conflict between Polish and German nations - you know - its politicly incorrect:P
I was trying to give you some more examples from polish art but all i could find was some crappy painting from 19th century so..it better not to look.
Are you going to make some illustrations about it?:)

yes, this is why i remember this legend, i remember it when i saw your city, krakow. it should be the old capital of old polish kingdom.

i dont know about illustration, who knows maybe i will... beside that its very dramatic and emotional story. i like it.

they say there are many kurgans in various places in poland. thats wonderful. for sure, all of them have a different story. i'd like to learn them.
